About the Role:
The Salvation Army is one of Australia's largest providers of Alcohol and Other drug services. We offer a range of services including Harm Reduction and Primary Health Services as well as a range of treatment types (including residential treatment centres, community-based support programs, counselling and withdrawal management services).
We are seeking a values driven Centre Manager to join our Brisbane Recovery Services Centre in Moonyah, QLD on a permanent full time basis. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to ensure quality service delivery and that participants receive services in a timely manner, appropriate case management, assessment and referrals, education and support within a client focused recovery framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure services are inclusive, accessible and responsive for our diverse participants
- Delivery of state agendas and operational/local plans aligned to national agendas
- Oversight of practice and service delivery
- Establish program specific systems and processes for service delivery and review regularly
- Manage services in accordance with funding body or contractual requirements and guidelines and service standards
- Development and management of program budgets and finances
- Manage risk in service delivery and operational aspects of program including building and assets
- Line management and supervision of staff
About you:
- Degree qualification in social work, welfare, community development or related field and extensive management experience
- Degree qualification in business or equivalent business management experience
- Project development and implementation experience in social and community services programs including AOD
- Ability to lead and support staff and services undergoing change
- Experience in active membership in community or sector bodies within the AOD sector
- WWCC and willingness to undergo police clearance as part of the recruitment process
