CFO - Investment Management

Role Overview:

This newly created CFO role will have primary responsibility for the planning, implementation, and management of all the finance and business activities of the firm, including finance, co-sec, HR, IT, compliance, and risk management.

The role offers an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to all facets of a fast-growing Investment Management business.

• Ownership of all aspects of the finance function for the company and its related entities
• Managing process for financial budgeting and forecasting and oversight of all financial reporting and statutory obligations
• Providing advice on Tax and structuring matters to the Board
• Oversight of compliance relating to AFSL, AML/KYC
• Maintaining share registries
• Development of policies and procedures
• Overseeing audit process
• Oversight of HR, IT and Office Management functions and ensuring continuous improvement
• Oversight of the group's Co-Sec function.

Skills & Experience:

• CA or CPA qualification.
• 10+ years’ experience gained in senior finance positions.
• Previous experience within a funds/asset/Investment Management environment preferred.
• Experience at creating, improving, monitoring and implementing processes.
• Demonstrated experience managing a team is essential.
• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written.
• Must be able to engage with staff at all levels of the organisation and exercise sound judgement.
• Board reporting experience.
• Collegiate and collaborative approach.
