MinterEllison’s Project Change and Communications team provide strategic and practical change management services to the firm's diverse portfolio of transformation programs. We utilise our deep change management consulting expertise to deliver positive impacts and measurable outcomes across complex and innovative initiatives.
Your Role
A 12 month fixed-term position exists within our Project Change & Communications team where you will have the opportunity to utilise your full lifecycle business change management experience from design to delivery. You will work closely with our project managers, business analysts and SMEs, typically working on more than one project. This role is based in our Sydney office with hybrid working arrangements, remote and in-office when required for project work.
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
- Define change programme requirements, including scope, deliverables and plan, with clear inputs/outputs/change dependencies within project/programme
- Implement effective stakeholder engagement to drive understanding amongst key influential stakeholders and business leaders
- Develop and lead innovative and compelling communication campaigns, create polished materials, test and measure effectiveness with key audiences
- Lead change impact and business readiness assessments, surface risks and issues, drive mitigation outcomes
- Develop training/upskilling approach, learning needs analysis, curriculum development, manage content creation and adoption measures
- Champion change capability development within impacted groups, and coach and prepare business leaders and people in key positions for their role in supporting individuals and their teams through change
- Responsible for all in-scope change workstream deliverables including strategy/approach, communication, engagement, impact assessment and readiness management, adoption metric definition and management, training, change and communication planning and reporting
Background:
- 5+ years' experience as a Business Change Management Consultant with experience in designing and delivering complex change initiatives across a diverse client portfolio/organisational landscape
- Professional services or management consulting experience is desired
- Experience leading all workstreams of change across the full lifecycle from initiation to delivery
- Deep experience in change impact analysis, business readiness and adoption management
- Experience in digital change and agile methodologies
- Superior skills managing complex and diverse stakeholder expectations and interests
- Passionate about involving people in the change process, preparing them for it and supporting them though it
- A creative thinker who can translate a vision for different audiences
- Confident communicating information with clarity and influencing senior stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and facilitation skills
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and manage complex stakeholder relationships
- Change practitioner accreditation or change methodology certification would be an advantage, PROSCI or similar
- Advanced MS Office skills, especially MS Excel and PowerPoint
