About the Company Davidson Technology are currently partnering with one of the largest local government authorities in Northern Queensland. The organisation provides and maintains over $5.4b worth of community assets including water and wastewater network and treatment, bridges, drainage, roads, waste management, community facilities, sporting venues and more. We are seeking an IT Change Manager for an initial 12-month contract until of April 2025 with potential to extend across a couple of projects. About the Role The Change Manager is a project-based position, central to a key and transformational project within the organization which is the Information Management Project, as well as contributing to the broader program of technology change. Key Responsibilities: As a leader and a part of the project team, you will be responsible for the effective development and implementation of change management strategies and plans that maximise employee adoption and usage of changes associated with the delivery of new Enterprise Resource Planning systems. Working with business leaders, stakeholders and subject matter experts, you will ensure the project meets its objectives by preparing, supporting, and equipping people to adopt and use changes. You will seek to drive faster adoption, higher utilisation and proficiency with the changes that are implemented in alignment with business goals. About You To be successful, you will demonstrate: 5+ years experience working as a Change Manager or similar role in a diverse multi-disciplined organisation. Extensive experience with and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools. Proven ability in interpreting technical information and translating it into audience appropriate communications. Extensive ability to apply creative problem-solving techniques and analytical skills in a highly complex environment using leading -edge technologies and integrating diverse user systems. Extensive experience working as part of a project team, with demonstrable success in delivering project outcomes including successful change management assessment, planning, preparation, and implementation. Experience in multi-faceted stakeholder management and responding constructively to operational and strategic challenges. Highly desirable Foundational Information Management knowledge The Benefits This opportunity offers you an initial 12 -month contract with potential to extend, at a pay level LGO 6 - 8 of up to $73/hr + super. This role requires a maximum of 38 hours per week. The client offers flexible working conditions split between work from home and their based office in Townsville.
