Position Overview:
The Strategic Change Manager will play a pivotal role in guiding the organization through significant government reforms, ensuring compliance with legislation while aligning service delivery with strategic priorities. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and collaboration skills to drive organizational change and enable informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of processes to assess the organization's role in delivering services affected by government reforms, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
- Provide high-level strategic advice to key stakeholders on the impact of reforms, strategic planning, and policy development.
- Evaluate the organization's capability to transition to competitive or sustainable service delivery models, presenting recommendations to stakeholders for consideration.
- Develop strategic collaboration models with service sectors to facilitate the delivery of organization's strategic priorities.
- Conduct public value tests on potential service models, including public value and market impact assessments.
- Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate a collaborative approach to reforms.
- Lead the implementation of organization's strategic directions in partnership with the Community Support Leadership Team, including structural developments, staff engagement processes, and contractual arrangements.
- Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans for staff, the community, and stakeholders to ensure transparency and engagement throughout the reform process.
- Partner with the People and Capability team to facilitate the successful transition of staff affected by reforms.
- Implement a robust change management program across impacted teams to facilitate smooth transitions and adoption of new processes.
- Provide regular reports to project governance and the Executive Management Team on the progress and outcomes of the reform program.
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field or relevant certifications in Change Managment
- Extensive experience in strategic planning, policy development, and change management within an organization or similar environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve strategic objectives.
- Demonstrated experience in project management and delivering results within specified timelines.
- Knowledge of government regulations and legislation related to service delivery and reform initiatives.
- Ability to adapt to evolving priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
