This opportunity
The Change Manager will be primarily responsible for supporting a change program across a transformation project. This role will be responsible for designing and driving the strategic change program to support a variety of operating changes (including ways of working and system changes) impacting teams across the organisation. Sitting within the People Experience Change & Planning team, you will work closely with the business unit's senior leadership team, business stakeholders and project teams to deliver an integrated change experience.
Outside of this remit, you will also deliver the change management for other business change programs, as required. Our change programs are grounded in a people-first approach, ensuring that we deliver a positive experience for our people that is aligned to both our culture and organisational strategy. At TPG Telecom, we're focused on building change maturity and capability and this role will have the opportunity to contribute to this exciting work. This role is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.
Responsibilities

  • Effectively lead the delivery of an integrated transformational change program, including the transition to new ways of working, as well as the support of technology deployments and adoption.
  • Evaluate, develop, plan, document and deliver end-to-end strategic change management for the program across relevant parts of the organisation. This includes:
  • Undertaking change capacity and impact assessments, stakeholder management (mapping and engagement plans), training needs assessment (in partnership with our Capability team), communications planning and delivery (in partnership with our Internal Communications team), business readiness assessments, adoption monitoring and value realisation.
  • Executing change management activities, working closely with key stakeholders, leaders and change agents, to ensure effective implementation.
  • Working closely with business stakeholders and program leaders to create adoption strategies including resistance management strategies and defining and tracking measures of success.
  • Identifying and providing ongoing visibility of change impacts and risks, collaborating with stakeholders to define and manage risk intervention and mitigation strategies.
  • Tracking program effectiveness and success, implementing continuous improvement strategies, active feedback loops and producing required reporting and recommendations.
  • Design and deliver other programs to support the change efforts as required such as manager readiness, sponsor plans or change agent programs.
  • Drive leadership change capability uplift, through coaching and designing and delivering bespoke change leadership programs and tools.
  • Work in partnership with the Transformation Office, project team and consultants to ensure the change program is integrated effectively within the project.
  • Day to day management of a Change Analyst who will be supporting this change program.
  • Day to day collaboration and management of a 3rd party consultancy change team.
  • Management of other change programs, as required.
Knowledge and experience
  • Proven experience leading a transformation change program in a large business unit, encompassing ways of working and system changes.
  • Experience applying a range of change management principles, methodologies, and tools to deliver successful change programs.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to build, manage and leverage strong relationships to drive positive outcomes.
  • The confidence and ability to work effectively across all levels of the organisation.
  • Excellent active listening, problem solving and influencing skills.
  • A flexible, curious, and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Experience in IT system change is desirable but not essential.
