JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities
- Apply a structured approach to organisational change management, ensuring articulation of scope, benefits and business outcomes of change required.
- Drive the adoption of solutions and benefits realisation through the end-to-end design and product delivery lifecycle through delivery of change strategy and plans across the portfolio of changes.
- Take an active and senior role in maturing the change practice to ensure focus on people and successful transition to business as usual, working with Business Analysts to ensure requirements are clear and process maps are reflective of end-to-end business processes; project managers to ensure change activities are integrated in the schedule and Business Owners to ensure ownership and collaboration from early in the project lifecycle.
- Implementation of change management plans, change management artefacts, communications, impact assessments and business readiness activities including process maps and working with the business teams to complete procedure documentation.
- Provide guidance to Change Review Forums/and of Organisational Change Team on change requests to ensure change is clearly understood and can be effectively prioritised, consider associated impacts to teams, change risks or issues, business resourcing requirements.
- Provide expertise, direct support and coaching to impacted business managers and frontline staff as they move through the change.
- Work with Project and Business Teams to support the training and testing processes.
- Work closely with other members of the Delivery Teams to understand project schedules and resource requirements of SMEs that can be tracked in a Change Impact Heatmap for presentation to Steering Committees and other governance forums as required.
- Prepare Status Reports for required Steering Committee and other governance forums.
- Contribute to the maturation of the Organisational Change Management Function through reporting and community of practice meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process; experience with Prosci ADKAR® Model, Lean Change, or alternative change model.
- Relevant tertiary or technical qualifications experience in a similar Change role
