We are seeking an experienced Change Manager to work within a data transformation project for our client.

About the Role:
Offering an initial 3-month contract with a 6-month extension option for the right candidate.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct preliminary communication and change impact analysis across the business, to identify stakeholders those areas impacted by the change to the systems and associated business process changes
- Develop a Change Management Strategy and Communications Strategy to effectively manage all aspects of change and communication activities which are introduced by the project to all impacted parties
- Identify a set of actionable and targeted change and communication initiatives that are aligned to the directorates strategy to mitigate or address any gaps
- Identify stakeholders’ and understand their expectations and ensure timely, and tailored communication occurs, through coordinating key stakeholders, quality assuring mediums and content and providing advice to the project, business leads and sponsor on best practice or requirements based on stakeholder analysis
- Collaborate with the Business Innovation Management Team and Business management team to integrate communication activities into the overall project, budget and Business schedules
- Comply with change methodology framework and recommended toolsets
- Develop and maintain a detailed work plan and schedule to ensure deliverables are met within agreed timeframes
- Identify, report and manage change and communication issues/risks to resolution.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Experience in identifying, planning and managing the business readiness requirements for the project and managing the change components to agreed quality expectations and aligned to project timeframes and budgets;
- Experience in providing change reports and working with Business Innovation
- Experience in influencing stakeholders to ensure engagement, participation and adoption of new systems, business tools and processes
- Ability to meet specified timelines with limited direction
- Demonstrated experience in managing business change within a technology context for diverse user groups within a project or program context.
- Experience in developing change management strategy and plans using industry standard structured change management approaches and methodologies to effectively manage all aspects of change impact and transition activities which are introduced by the project to all impacted parties
- Experience in developing training plans and materials to support operational and training needs to all the impacted parties, which includes internal IT and business departments, external customers, systems owners, training and operation support staff
- Ability to manage stakeholders’ expectations and ensure timely tailored communication and provide advice to the project team, business leads and sponsors on best practice or requirements.
Desirable criteria:
- Relevant industry certification, for example PROSCI
Candidate must be located within Australia and have full working rights and be able to secure a police clearance. This role is based in Perth, you will be required to live and work in Perth for the duration of the contract. Remote working is not an option for this role.
