The types of projects in the Program span various domains, including key enterprise software-as-a-service business solutions, various business applications and IT infrastructure and equipment upgrades.
About the Role
The ICT Change Specialist will work with internal and external stakeholders to plan and to assess change impacts and implement key changes to support projects success. This includes creating change materials, assessing change impacts and readiness and delivering communications plans in partnership with the Communications Specialist to assist impacted people with change.
The ICT Change Specialist will also support the ICT Change Manager in executing other Program-related projects change activities as may be required.
Why the team needs you
As the Change Project Specialist, you will have experience in delivering a variety of change initiatives that have contributed to a significant change program or transformation journey.
- Support the implementation of the endorsed ICT Program change and communications strategies.
- Working with relevant areas to create a set of actionable and targeted set of change management plans - including communications plan, sponsor roadmap, training plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve project-related challenges, fostering a culture of collaboration and teamwork
- Identify emerging barriers to change, change management issues and risks which may impact projects outcomes and develop solutions to address.
- Document workarounds that support the business through transitional processes when required.
- Continually evaluate effectiveness of projects’ change, communications and training plans and activities, making appropriate adjustments as the Projects evolve evolves.
- Defining and measuring success metrics and monitor change progress.
You will collaborate with all levels of the business to facilitate and manage a variety of exciting improvements that have been identified in developing the transformation roadmap.
Skills and Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in delivering successful organisational change and business improvement projects ideally across ICT / Technology programs.
- Proven record of high impact partnering and coaching senior leaders as change/project sponsors.
- Analytical skills to analyse data, make informed decisions based on the information available, identify trends and patterns; and use this information to inform the change plan.
- Experience in the documentation, implementation and evaluation of business change activities in a large scale complex project environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and adjust the change plan as necessary, as well as the ability to handle unexpected challenges and make decisions on the fly.
- Critical thinking skills to identify and address problems that arise during the change process; and think creatively to develop solutions that keep the change process on track.
- Excellent change planning, analysis, interventions, resistance management, conceptualisation and problem solving skills, along with the management of multiple deliverables within agreed priorities, timeframes and accountabilities.
