The Channel Communications and Events team partners with channels across Customer Success to deliver strategic, purposeful and inspiring frontline communication and event experiences that move our frontline teams to action, drive leadership visibility and connection with our vision and strategy.
This position requires high levels of organisational, creative and communication skills for the design, development and implementation of the events calendar and ownership of critical communication programs, as well as an over-arching view of the Communications & Events strategy!
Your day in the life at Optus
- Craft engaging and significant event and communication experiences that meet business objectives and generate excitement for the future.
- Guiding the team and supporting the delivery of annual overseas Roadshows for partners in India & the Philippines and delivering monthly Townhalls for largely virtual/hybrid.
- End-to-end ownership of specific critical communication programs based on current business needs – i.e. mental health and wellbeing.
- Develop and lead strategic Customer Success events calendar.
Your skills to pay the bills
- Confirmed experience and/ or Tertiary qualifications in event management communications, marketing, business or another suitable field.
- Validated background in events with significant experience working in large and sophisticated corporate events.
- Experience in running supplier relationships
- Shown ability to work under pressure and lead multiple projects
- Experience leading virtual events
