Chef – All Rounder Food Production, Caringbah NSW
Cuisinecorp Australia is one of the largest variety manufacturers of Gourmet high quality handmade finger foods in Australia (Now introducing Bulk & Portion Wet Dish as well). Our varied customers include 5-star hotels, caterers, government, sporting arenas, convention centres, restaurants, clubs, high end pubs, air lines and gourmet supermarkets.
We are currently looking for two positions Production Chef and highly motivated, artistic and talented chef to support the production manager, in the day-to-day operation, research & development and quality consistency assurance of products. The selected candidate must have the following:
- Ability to produce 5-star quality cold and hot finger food, wet dish, sauces etc.
- Artistic talent in cold and hot finger foods following & creating recipes to produce wet dish and sauces.
- Innovative, creative and willing to introduce new flavours, product development and experimentation with the flexibility to adapt to customers’ requirements.
- Computer Systems implementation skills and good at writing systems and procedures.
- Absolute attention to detail and maintain highest quality levels.
- Manage hygiene in production for Ready to Eat items.
- The ability to motivate, train and lead a positive team.
- Take responsibility of Food Cost & Labour Costing via production time & motion per product.
- A general helping hand to Production Manager as required.
- Ability to record process control steps.
Job comes with an attractive salary package based on expertise & experience or casual to start with if desired with salary position if you wish. Starting Salary Package is $80K+; based on expertise & Experience.
Cuisinecorp is a very fast-growing company and potential to grow to higher positions within the company is enormous. A Mon-Fri job with Day Time hours generally with some weekend work when extremely busy like over Christmas.
