Newcastle Anglican is seeking x2 casual Chefs to work across our Aged Care facilities. Our Aged Care Home locations include Jesmond, Booragul, Merewether & Toronto.
Monday - Sunday 10am – 6pm
Lead by the Hospitality Services Manager, the Chef will be responsible for delivering consistent, well prepared meals. In this fast paced environment, you must be able to multi-task while ensuring the food safety program and procedures are adhered to, maintain quality standards of all work performed and be part of a positive working environment.

Role & Responsibilities:
- Providing support to all kitchen staff in cooking, food safety and cleaning duties
- Recognise and communicate problems effectively
- Handling multiple tasks and manage resources to meet competing deadlines and priorities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills including internal and external customers
- Effective written and verbal communication skill
- Requirement to travel across multiple services - Newcastle, Lake Macquarie
About you?
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (SIT30813)
- Proven working experience as a Chef in a large scale kitchen environment
- Demonstrated commercial cookery experience, including ordering and stock control
- Ability to work as part of a flexible, multi-skilled team and individually
- Must have own reliable transport
