The Role
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Chef de Partie to join the team at The Convent Hunter Valley, located in the heart of Pokolbin. You will be an integral part of delivering our personalised and bespoke dining experience to our guests.

A short stroll down the tree-lined driveway is Circa 1876, located in an historic cottage on the picturesque grounds of Roscrea Estate. Circa 1876 quite literally brings the ‘farm to fork’ ethos to life as guests overlook the organic kitchen garden. Overlooking the Wisteria Courtyard at The Convent, Restaurant Eighty Eight is a more relaxed dining experience.
Here's what you'll do
- Deliver our in-house dining menu inspired by local ingredients, prepared utilising creative preparation techniques;
- Curating an unforgettable and personalised experience for our guests from start to finish;
- Leading your section during lunch and dinner service;
- Be creative and collaborate with our dynamic team to contribute towards new menu ideas.
This is how you’ll know you’re right for this role
- Chef trade qualification (essential);
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a fine dining, hatted or high end restaurant environment (essential);
- Ability and willingness to commence work on a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays;
- Located close to our restaurant or a willingness to relocate;
- A passion for people, food and wine.
