Distillery Road Market is looking for a passionate and team orientated full-time Chef de Partie to join our kitchen crew in one of our new F.E.D venues.
Situated half-way between the Gold Coast and Brisbane, Distillery Road Market is the region’s newest food and entertainment hub, inspired by the world’s best markets, boasting events and live entertainment and our very own craft brewery and beer garden.
The F.E.D combines next-level international street eats, casually designed for maximum enjoyment, while housing incredible entertainment experiences within its purpose-built space.
About the role
This new role offers an opportunity for an experienced Chef to take the next step in their career. At DRM we are passionate about delivering high quality foods across a range of venues, from American barbeque to tapas and more.
The new F.E.D kitchens offer state-of-the-art equipment, specifically designed to deliver high-pace tapas for the venue and function service.
We offer:
- A salaried, full-time position
- A 5-day working week, operating from Wednesday to Sunday
- A flexible roster, operating from 9am to 11pm
Key role responsibilities
- Deliver quality menu items quickly to a consistent high standard
- Manage menu preparations
- Provide assistance with menu ideas and development
- Manage compliance and best practice with sanitation regulations and food safety standards
- Stock and supplier management
- Team development
Required skills and experience
- A trade qualified chef with a minimum of 2 years experience
- Extensive knowledge of food safety requirements and best practice
- Proven ability to train, lead and motivate team members
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing environments
