Chef de Partie - Mandoon Estate
Mandoon Estate is seeking a dynamic, motivated and Chef de Partie to join our Homestead Brewery team based in the Swan Valley.
Mandoon Estate is a highly awarded winery situated in the Swan Valley. It incorporates Homestead Brewery, Wild Swan restaurant, Cellar Door, function centre, dedicated arts gallery and boutique accommodation, Maya Maya. This really is an opportunity to join a large dynamic team during a period of incredible growth.
This is a hands on role which will require weekend and evening work.
Homestead Brewery Kitchen is a busy operation working alongside, and with, the multiple areas listed above.
You will need to be able to demonstrate:
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced, professional and demanding kitchen
- Work experience on sections including but not limited to grill, pans, pizza, fryers, larder and pastry.
- Impeccable hygiene standards
- proper stock control, ordering and rotation
- Ability to train and develop junior staff
- Ensure compliance with relevant Occupational Health and Safety procedures including knowledge of HACCP
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen within a five star hotel environment; will be highly regarded
- Flexible with working hours
- Formal qualifications in Commercial Cookery
- Passion for producing consistent, quality food
- A strong work ethic and the ability to multitask
- Must have the right to work in Australia
