Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to lead our kitchen team and ensure the consistent delivery of exceptional Italian cuisine. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Italian cooking techniques, a creative flair for developing new dishes, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the kitchen team in all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Develop menus inspired by authentic Italian recipes and adapted to modern trends
- Maintain inventory levels and control food costs to maximize profitability.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with management to plan and execute special events, promotions, and menu tastings.
Requirements
- Diploma level qualification preferred or at least three years experience.
- Proven experience as a Chef in an Italian restaurant or similar culinary setting.
- Extensive knowledge of Italian cuisine, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a focus on attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure with professionalism.
