About the role
We are seeking a full time dedicated and highly experienced Chef Manager to manage the entire food services operation and kitchen team at our public sector client's facility in Dubbo, NSW.
- 40 hours per week including weekday and weekend shifts.
- Relocation fees and rental assistance will be considered for the accepted applicant.
- Weekend and Public Holiday Loadings apply.
Key attributes and responsibilities
- 3+ years' experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated and proven budget and cost management experience.
- High level of QA, WH&S, HACCP and Food Safety knowledge.
- Previous experience in the design and implementation of nutritionally adequate and appropriate menus
- Ability to lead a busy kitchen in a medium - large sized facility.
- Produce high quality, nutritious and well-presented meals in line with food service guidelines.
- Be responsible for rostering and day to day supervision/management of team members.
- Menu design and implementation and computer literacy
- Excellent client liaison skills, proficient English a must
- Must have reliable transport.
