Rosstown
Located in the heart of Carnegie the Rosstown Hotel has been welcoming and serving the community for generations. Most recently, after being the recipient of multiple industry awards, this venue is known as the go-to venue for watching all the sporting action in our sports bar and beer garden, our 3 unique function spaces offer something to suit every occasion. An on-site late-night drive through Bottleshop, 103 machine 2022 AHA National award-winning gaming room and our family friendly bistro serves up delicious pub meals from our extensive, creative menu 7 days a week.
Racecourse
Located in the leafy suburb of Malvern East the Racecourse Hotel is a locals, local. We pride ourselves on excellent good old fashioned hospitality service in a venue that welcomes all. Featuring a 90-seat table service, produce driven bistro offering, 100-seater private function space, sports bar, beer garden and 40 machine gaming room.
Qualification –
Cert 3 or higher – Diploma of hospitality management
About the Role –
Reporting to the head chef, duties include but not limited to:
- Experience in production and delivery of high-quality meals
- Confident cooking style with strong emphasis on quality and presentation
- High standards of service
- Innovative menu design
- Day to day running of the kitchen
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Team player with good communication
- Creative passion and motivation to excel
- Labour and stock control
- Coaching of other staff
- Thoroughly understanding of food and safety regulations
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including evening, weekends and public holidays
