Ivy is Sydney’s very own wonderland, a leading dining and entertainment destination, with its world class design, impeccable service and an impressive constellation of restaurants, bars, rooftop pool and event spaces in the heart of Sydney CBD.
We are now expanding the array of our ivy restaurants and bars with a brand New Venue like no other in the city. The food offering will be headed up by Sushi e’s Michael Fox.
The Role
This is a great opportunity to join Merivale in this exciting new opening coming to the ivy precinct. You will be part of a small team of chefs, we are looking for a Sous Chef to run the kitchen and work closely with Michael Fox. We are also looking for CDP’s and Demi or Commis Chefs to join the team, ideally you will have the following experience.
- 1-2 years experience in a similar role, working in wine bars, restaurants or gastro pubs.
- Happy working in a smaller kitchen team with a buzzing environment.
- Experience managing a section and can work autonomously on occasion.
- Have a great eye for detail and enjoy cooking small plates.
- Follows allergen and WH&S practices.
