Orontide is seeking a commercially focused CEO to take full responsibility for all aspects of this dynamic business.
About the Role
As the selected candidate, your primary responsibility will be ensuring the business’s long-term profitability. You will oversee the company operations, with a focus on building and executing a growth strategy. Additionally, you will be responsible for fostering a culture aligned with this strategy and leading a dynamic senior management team. Your ability to work closely with an experienced Board of Directors and effectively manage capital and resources will be crucial.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Oversee the effective, efficient, and safe operation of all aspects of all divisions of the organisation, including revenue growth, profit growth, engineering, quality, sales, product development, health & safety, financial reporting, and compliance.
- Successfully lead the people and processes of the organisation, ensuring the organisation operates within all statutory requirements.
- Deliver the budget and forecast for financial performance.
- Represent the company in its relationships with major customers, bankers, government bodies, professional societies, and similar groups.
- Maintain a safe work environment that meets the quality requirements of our clients and statutory bodies.
- Deliver growth across existing and new markets with agreed targets for developing the business.
- Report directly to the Board with agreed Safety, Operational and Financial targets.
- Leadership of an ambitious, capable, and effective senior management team actively supporting their professional and personal development.
- Adopt a commercially focused and strategic approach to the market.
- Regular travel within Australia to Orontide’s facilities and to visit clients, whilst being based from the Head Office in Henderson.
To be successful for this position, you will possess the following:
- Preferred tertiary and postgraduate qualifications in an appropriate discipline or equivalent formal studies in management.
- Operational and management experience in engineering industries and/or business services industries where asset management is a core focus.
- Knowledge of modern management concepts.
- Commitment to safety, and knowledge of safety concepts.
- Ability to make decisions and follow through.
- High interpersonal skills.
- Networking skills, to identify and develop future work opportunities.
- Familiar with, and dedicated to, continuous improvement concepts.
