Our client is a leading manufacturer of smart access systems within Australia, with products and services that are available in over 50 countries.
This is a newly appointed position, we’re looking for an experience CFO toshape, drive and lead our next phase of expansion and growth Nationally + Internationally.
You will be responsible for fostering strategies to achieve sustainable growth, manage our financial resources, create and implement new initiatives to achieve their strategic focus.
You will develop and maintain strong and effective professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, work collaboratively across functions, manage an existing finance team, and have a place on our Executive Leadership Team.

Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Board of Directors, MD and CEO
- You will be part of the Senior Leadership Team and play a crucial part in navigating the business
- Working with the Executive team to understand each strategic objective, create & implement business plan.
- Presenting budgets and forecasts and business plans to the Board.
- Working closely with the CEO/ MD on potential acquisitions to expand their service offering and opportunities (National & International).
- Working with clients to develop competitive contractual arrangements.
- Providing decision support and training to Senior Management to improve their financial and commercial accountability.
- Ensuring your finance team deliver an accurate month end, budgets and forecasts, commercial analysis and statutory reports.
- Continuous process improvement across all functions.
- Implementing best practise accounting process and procedure
- Setting and driving organisational vision and operations strategy
- Translate strategy into actionable steps for growth
- Implementing organisation-wide goal setting
- Oversee team productivity, building a high-performance team culture
- Ensure compliance with national and local business regulations
- Monitor performance and take corrective measures when necessary, and prepare detailed updates and forecasts, statistics, and analytics
- Build and maintain trusting relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders
Criteria:
- You must be either an Australian Citizen or hold Permanent Resident status with full work rights
- A solid track record of driving revenue growth and building a reputation for quality and excellence
- Strong understanding of the complexities and compliance requirements within international business expansion
- Commercially astute with a comprehensive business perspective
- Working cross-functional and collaboratively to develop practical and profitable solutions
- Skilled in change management, with the ability to steer, optimise, and unify organisational transitions effectively
- Strong process orientation with a focus on standardising and achieving efficiency across operations
- Effective communicator and networker, who builds high levels of trust and confidence with internal and external stakeholders
- Open to interstate and international travel
