Reporting to the CEO, and forming part of the Executive leadership team, your mandate will entail the execution of strategy that delivers growth objectives and client outcomes. As such, you will assume responsibility for providing executive level leadership and management of the Group’s financial functions, providing appropriate financial planning and disclosures to enable the prudent management of the Group’s financial affairs, whilst maximising its financial position. Your charter will encompass timely reporting on all commercial, financial, accounting and taxation advice, preparing and evaluating capital expenditure projects, along with evaluating the financial aspects of proposed acquisitions, investments and mergers. Your expertise in financial governance and compliance at a strategic level will ensure legislative and reporting requirements are met at Group level.

Accordingly, we are pursuing a CPA with experience gained in a similar capacity. Appropriate tertiary qualifications in commerce or finance are essential, and will compliment a high volume, transactional financial background. MPMG is part of the broader Gallagher Bassett group, and as such, there is a requirement to work within US financial standards and timelines. SOX understanding therefore an advantage, but not essential. The position requires a CFO that will adopt a collaborative executive style, working in close harmony with a dynamic CEO and broader executive team. This key role will appeal to an individual with corporate finesse, and one who enjoys balancing strategic activity with an immersion in operational intricacies when the situation demands.
