SalaryACGoulding is a well established Melbourne HVAC Company and we require a Finanace person that can not only accurately manage the integrity of all our current accounting systems, but is also passionate about streamlining systems to improve forecasting and accountabilities of projects and positions.
The ACGoulding Family Company Group comprises of ACGoulding (a HVAC Air Conditioning engineering Construction team) and ACGoulding Services (a Maintenance and Service repair team) The whole group employs 35 people
This role is to manage all financial systems of the entire group, but we are selecting the person most suited being able to “Streamline systems to enable different apps to be used that will increase efficiency and allow for better forward cashflow planning.”

Accounts Receivable Payable
Job Costing
Progress Claim
Cash flow Forecasting
Financial Reports
Monitor budget performance throughout the year of the business as a whole and individual jobs
Identify opportunities for cost optimization, and drive profitability.
Manage relationships with financial institutions, auditors, external Accountants and regulatory authorities.
Provide reports that will drive Accountability on all Roles within the business.
Regularly submit System improvement proposals to the Management team and implement.
Be active in recruiting systems and people that will benefit the company.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA, CPA, or CA) preferred.
- Proven experience as a Finance Controller or in a similar senior finance role. Industry experience preferred but not essential.
- Proven ability to streamline financial systems by using IT, Apps etc.
- Capable of assisting in the leadership of the business as it continues its growth.
- Familiarity with financial software and systems.
As this is a new role in the Company, a phase-in period will be required, so that this role can fully understand the existing systems and roles who may be replaced due to improved systems or role developments.
