Description
Overall responsibility for the strategic planning, implementation, managing and running of all the finance activities of the Company including business planning, budgeting, forecasting, project management, compliance, risk, and governance.
As a key member of the executive management team, the role will interact closely with senior local and international management and operational partners to drive the strategy and profitability of the Company.
Broad roles and responsibilities will include:
- Providing leadership, direction, and management of the finance team.
- Overseeing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and preparation of all financial reporting - both internal and external compliance reporting.
- Overseeing development, negotiation, and reporting of future project commercials.
- Providing strategic recommendations to the local and international management teams.
- Providing commercial insight and strategic advice in relation to key customer and supplier interactions.
- Relationship and contract management of key customer accounts.
- Ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Supporting M&A activities and other strategic initiatives.
- Implementing and maintaining robust internal controls.
- Managing relationships with external auditors and financial institutions.
Profile
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong financial acumen and leadership skills.
- At least three years CFO experience in the automotive or manufacturing related industry.
- Proven track record in core accounting processes including account closing, forecasting, and budgeting.
- A thorough, practical understanding of overall business disciplines and how real business needs can be addressed effectively with pragmatic solutions.
- Ability to develop strong relationships with both financial and operational team members to deliver positive outcomes for the business.
- An advanced level of written and verbal communication/presentation skills.
