ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team at Gateway Health. The CFO will play a pivotal role in shaping Gateway Health’s strategic direction, financial performance, and compliance with regulatory standards. By driving strategic financial planning, the CFO will support our continued growth and provide crucial guidance to senior management and the Board of Directors. Ensuring sound financial decision-making that aligns with Gateway Health's goals and objectives will be a key aspect of this role.
As the CFO, you will be instrumental in guiding the financial and growth direction of the organisation. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial planning, analysis, reporting, and management. Key duties include financial reporting, financial modelling, board reports, strategic planning, regulatory and compliance, systems transformation and process improvements, people and stakeholder management along with planning, implementing and evaluating growth opportunities.
Your ability to identify and pursue potential revenue sources, including commercial and for-profit ventures along with supporting the CEO in advocacy for funding model reviews will ensure Gateway Health sustainability and effectiveness for the future. Coupled with your proficiency in effectively communicating financial information, you will enable informed decision-making across the organisation, including the Senior Leadership team, various Committees, and the Board of Directors. Your leadership skills will be essential in growing and mentoring the finance, infrastructure, information, and technology teams.

Relevant candidates will have tertiary qualifications, with CA/CPA registration. Strong accounting knowledge and a hands-on approach. You are innovative and possess a growth mindset, always identifying and driving continuous improvement opportunities.

REMUNERATION
Victorian Stand-Alone Community Health Services (Health and Allied Services, Managers & Administrative Officers) Multiple Enterprise Agreement 2022-2026
Classification Managers and Administrative Officer Grade 10, plus superannuation, salary packaging up to $15,900 and private use of a fully maintained company vehicle.
