- Highly profitable business - team leadership.
- Mandate to execute on growth & exit.
- $350,000 base + super + STI + equity
This mid-sized business is a major player within its sector and provides a much-needed service to a wide array of clients. The sector is robust and continues to consolidate and grow through a range of M&A activities.
This is a critical role supporting not only the CEO and operations but also the board. The initial focus is refining the internal finance infrastructure (people, process & systems) to ensure data integrity and provide vital and regular insight to the board. You will create a more efficient and insightful output from finance, a greater level of business partnering and commercial insight, and more efficient utilization of the ERP system. There will be some additional bolt-on acquisitions in the medium term, leading to a high value exit for shareholders in 2-3 years. There is a strong focus on execution at pace. The mandate is ‘execution at pace to capitalize on opportunities’.
You must have experience of working with private equity either in Australia or internationally. Experience of setting up processes and systems to drive results and deliver BI and insights to board and executives. You must be able to operate at pace, with an outcome focused mentality. You have ideally supported a PE board and have the commercial nous to summarize what is happening in the business, as well as the ‘hands-on’ style to take ownership and execute change. We are seeking a tenacious, hungry, driven CFO who wants to join a business where they can make a tangible impact.
