This organisation is a self-regulatory body and industry association with over 150 members, including financial institutions, major retailers, and fintechs. This opportunity will be to cover the CPO who will be taking maternity leave at the end of August. This SME business is seeking an exceptional Chief People & Culture Officer (CPCO) to join their dynamic team on a part-time, contract basis until March next year. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to influence and implement People and Culture strategies that align with the mission and values.About the Role
As the CPO, you will be instrumental in driving the development and execution of strategic People and Culture initiatives. You will support organisational growth, enhance employee engagement, and champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I). Your role will ensure compliance with employment laws while fostering a positive workplace culture.You will collaborate with the Executive Committee (ExCo), Board, and relevant subcommittees to align P&C strategies with organisational goals and legal requirements.
About YouYou will have gained solid experience in a CPO or Head of HR role, with a proven HR leadership track record in developing and implementing successful P&C strategies in Australia. You will require experience dealing with a SME and board members. You will have strengths in strategic thinking and commercial acumen and have a strong analytical mind.Note this is a daily rate contract role 2 - 2.5 days a week for approximately 7 months starting in early August and would suit either someone looking for only a part time role or a consultant who is looking to supplement their existing client base for a 7 month period.
