It’s not very often that we’re briefed on a senior Executive Assistant position where one of the key criteria is having a laugh behind the scenes and becoming a ‘work friend’ to a high-performing, seasoned people leader.
Based on the lower North Shore (near the train line and free on-site parking is available) this is an ASX-listed, global business with an incredible culture (trust us, we’ve worked with them for years!).
Although the business has 30,000 employees across Australia, the HQ has a close-knit feel and you’ll be working alongside a team of other wonderful EA’s.
Supporting the newly appointed Chief People Officer you’ll be a high-touch, commercially minded Executive Assistant who enjoys leaning in and offering 5 star service on a day to day basis.

Where you’ll be making an impact…
- Full inbox and heavy diary management – given this role is supporting the CPO there are many moving parts and meetings with on a day-to-day basis
- Streamline day to day operations and BAU tasks for the CPO – support with deadline management
- Coordinate extensive interstate travel, itineraries and manage expenses
- Provide untouchable client service – ensuring you are the ultimate extension of the CPO to the wider team
- Create presentations, documents and other materials for SLT meetings and committees
- Wider support to 6 direct reports on an adhoc basis when required
- Be proactive with highly confidential business projects, not only acting as a sounding board but using your commercial acumen to offer input when appropriate
You will be the ‘vault’ when it comes to matters of confidentiality, integrating yourself into the business and becoming a pillar of strength to drive positive values and energy throughout the team. After all, you are representing not only the company brand but the personal brand of your Executive.
Prior experience supporting an Executive in the People space is highly desired.
To flourish in this position, you’ll be a mature-minded, seasoned professional who can confidently offer value to an accomplished Executive. You will be quick, sharp, tech-savvy and ideally come with experience in a large, listed business to truly understand the matrix of operations.
