Remuneration: $70,049.73 - $98,351.39 per annum

What you'll be doingAs a Child and Family Health Nurse (CFHN), you will be:
- Working within a multidisciplinary team providing nursing assessment, care coordination, clinical intervention, monitoring, maintenance, and education to clients and their carers/families based on evidence-based best practices.
- Working within a strengths-based model to provide specialist nursing care in partnership with families until the child’s second birthday.
- Building parental capacity by following a structured visiting schedule with specific activities that promote attachment.
- Using an early intervention approach to identify and address the needs of vulnerable families and support attainment of their aspirations and goals.

- Qualification: Registered Nurse
- Registration: Registered Nurse Division 1
Selection Criteria:
- Current enrolment with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as Registered Nurse Division 1, Qualification in Child and Family Health Nursing with a willingness to complete Advance Practice Nursing course – Tresillian
- Evidence of post registration experience working with families and young children; including those from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds using a family partnership model.
- Effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients
- Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
- Commitment to evidenced based Child and Family Health nursing practice; including an understanding of Families NSW and primary health care principles and practices
- Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to utilise information technology systems within a variety of applications and a commitment to undertaking training in electronic health record systems
- Demonstrated ability and experience working in a multidisciplinary team
- NSW Drivers Licence Class C and willingness to use for work purposes
