Chiropractic Assistant

The team at My Chiropractor are on the hunt for the ULTIMATE Chiropractic Assistant, offering between 25-30hrs each week.  This person needs to be 'pure magic' with the ability to serve and help care for our clients while also being a personal assistant to our practitioners.  You must be able to multi-task like no other in a fast paced environment with absolute precision and skill, [yes, you will need to have 8 arms like an octopus with ninja like abilities every day].

The ideal person needs to be genuine, who is a warm ray of sunshine and most importantly the ultimate team player with a positive attitude - we don't do bad vibes in this crew. Attention to detail, thinking on your feet and forward planning is a must, as you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operations of our front office and help build strong client relationships.  A great sense of humour is a must, we're a team that likes to work hard and enjoy a laugh throughout the day.  

This role is ONLY SUITABLE for those that are able to be on their feet for longer periods of time [we are standing reception desk only and you will be moving around the practice a lot during a shift]. We need a person that can whole heartedly commit to shift work.  Shifts may range from 6.00am - 12.30pm or 12pm - 6.30pm OR all day 6.00am - 6.30pm [when needed] and available to work half day or full day shifts during our trading days of Monday through to Saturday [you will not be required to work 6 days a week].  
Please do not apply if you cannot commit to these hours, this is a non-negotiable. 

The successful applicant will be health conscious with a positive approach and willingness to learn from some of the best.  Although this is a part-time position, for the right person, this role can quickly have the ability to grow into a full-time position with potentially being a 2IC in the practice….but you need to show, earn and prove that you are the ‘extra magic’ we need, to earn that position.

Main Responsibilities:

• Maintain our high standard of exemplary client service.
• Manage front office - greeting clients, answering & making phone calls, taking clients into treatment rooms and preparing rooms for both practitioners and clients.
• Manage appointment schedules
• Receipting and handling of money
• Liaise with and PA practitioners
• Product ordering and liaising with reps
• Maintain office presentation
• Assist with clinical examinations and reports
• Preparation of clinical documents
• Assist in the promotion of our practice
• Confidential & excellent management of client records
• Other general PA and administration tasks
