What’s on offer?
We wish to build on our core team of delivery personnel with Civil Construction Supervisor to be a part of our national Telecommunications business. This role will be a permanent appointment on our NBN contract as part of the Fulton Hogan Utilities Team in Belmont, WA.
In this role you'll be responsible for:
Ensuring workers implement control measures to minimise risk to health and safety of themselves and others through SWMS, Special Processes and Corrective Actions
Applying practical knowledge to relevant FH systems and procedures and/or site specific procedures/ instructions
Coordinating with engineering team to develop and maintain short term progress
Developing good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Working knowledge of plant capability and appropriate selection for required task
Supervising and managing a team of specialist technicians
Calculating and monitoring daily cost of resources and working to target budgets.
How you'll connect to the role:
Proven experience as a field Supervisor working on Telecommunication, Utilities or Civil projects
Previous experience supervising drilling crews desirable but not a must
Demonstrate computer literacy
Read and interpret plans
A sound understanding of existing network architecture (pits, cables, ducts etc)
Strong management capabilities with the ability to lead from the front
Proven commitment to promoting safety, quality and environment compliance on site
