OSMAC has an opportunity for a Civil Construction Plant Operator Traineeship for our valued client, based in the Townsville Region. The successful candidate will be working alongside highly-skilled professional tradesmen and Government officials. The role of this position would be the delivery civil infrastructure work, remedial work, repairs, operating various machinery by performing arrange of duties with limited supervision.
You will also support the team in undertaking civil infrastructure, rehabilitation and maintenance activities, guide and assist other employees as part of a work team and plan complex work activities, to achieve project outcomes. Accountabilities to read and interrupt and apply plans to civil infrastructure construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance procedures with an emphasis on State Government irrigation networks throughout the Burdekin district, with construction and rehabilitation.

- Be an Australian citizen or have permanent residency status
- Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test and medical exam
- Live locally in the Townsville area
- Available to travel within the Burdekin Region with overnight stay
- Committed for three (3) years
