Your new role
Provide effective management and contract administration for Civil Contracts and high-level advice on contract compliance, and contractor performance reporting. The Katherine Civil team is responsible for the management and delivery of capital, minor new works, specific maintenance and routine maintenance of civil, road and transport assets for the Northern region. The Project Manager - Contracts will work with the Project Officers and Managers to capture all of the performance related matters of each contract and undertake the management of compliance against the contract conditions and specifications.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Manage contract administration on Civil Contracts, including measuring compliance with the terms and conditions as well as documenting and negotiating changes or amendments that may arise during the term of the contract.
- Manage contractor performance of reporting, timeliness and quality of maintenance construction works; and implement contractual performance measures.
- Develop and manage auditing and reporting of contracts against Key Performance Indicators and provide advice for improvements of contract specifications and contract administration for future contracts.
- Provide training and support to Project Officers and Managers in contract management, administration, and performance reporting.
- Project management duties for the upgrades, maintenance, and inspections of transport assets.
What you'll need to succeed
This role is a Designation AO6– salary is between $94,620 – $105,609 + super, pa.
