About the Role:
As a Civil Engineer at Gearon Environment Pty Ltd, you will play a crucial role in their project management team, overseeing and executing a wide range of civil and environmental engineering projects. Your role will ensure that all operations are conducted smoothly and efficiently, adhering to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
· Direct and supervise all aspects of project execution, ensuring adherence to predefined time, budgetary constraints, and quality benchmarks.
· Craft and maintain comprehensive project management documentation, including project schedules, safety protocols, financial estimates, and procedures for managing claims.
· Conduct thorough tracking and archiving activities for Quality Assurance (QA) documents and material or equipment inventories to meet compliance standards and facilitate audits.
· Coordinate effectively with a broad network of subcontractors and in-house teams, ensuring strict compliance with project timelines and specifications.
· Oversee the daily management of project expenditures, including the preparation of detailed budget reports and claims documentation, supported by systematic spreadsheet tools.
· Lead the programming and implementation of vital infrastructure elements, encompassing traffic signal systems, water drainage solutions, roadway profiling, asphalt laying, and the installation of guardrails.
· Maintain proactive and clear communication with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure seamless project execution and the fulfillment of all project objectives.
Qualifications and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
· Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Engineer, with a strong background in project management and site supervision.
· Demonstrated experience in the preparation of project management plans, safety documentation, cost, and claims management.
· Proficiency in tracking and archiving QA documentation and material/plant records.
· Experience in managing subcontractors and direct labor to meet project deadlines.
· Proficient in budget management and cost tracking.
· Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
