One of our clients, Esencon located in Broadmeadows, VIC, has an opportunity for a Civil Engineering Draftsperson to join their Design Team.

Esencon leads a new generation of home builders delivering homes with a strong focus on quality, innovation, and efficiency.

This role will be working within a team, providing civil design and drafting support to their projects. This opportunity is ideal for a hardworking, highly experienced motivated individual who values collaboration, and professional experience and wants to be a part of a busy growing business. This role will see you produce and develop different façade systems and details whilst also developing your skills in design, engineering, and materials.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Interpreting work assignment instructions, applying appropriate procedures, and selecting equipment.

·        Understand project instructions and prepare drawing documentation and specifications to meet the comprehensive needs of the project.

·        Collecting and analysing data, carrying out computations.

·        Maintain close contact with construction workers and project managers.

·        Diagnosis of building defects and façade reviews.

·        Client interface, relationship building, and business growth initiatives.

·        Design review and assisting in design certification of façade systems.

·        Inspecting engineering works and organizing and supervising maintenance and repair work.

·        Estimating material costs and ensuring finished works are within. specifications, regulations, and contract provisions.

·        Provide technical explanations i.e., indicators and parameters to site personnel as required.

    SKILLS REQUIRED:

·        Degree or Diploma holder in Civil Engineering.

·        Ideally at least three year’s experience as a Civil Engineering Draftsperson.

·        Strong understanding of engineering principles and construction techniques.

·        Knowledge of 3D design software

·        Demonstrated experience in providing drafting using AutoCAD software in delivering shop drawings packages of Aluminium Louvres, perforated screens etc.

·        Knowledge of the latest industry developments and technologies.

·        Knowledge of aluminium, steel, and glass required with proven experience.

·        Ability to conceptualise and design practical solutions.

·        Exceptional attention to detail and ability to communicate professionally.

Salary: $80,000 + Super
