Civil Estimator

This is your opportunity to join the already established and experienced, Estimating division at a leading multi-disciplinary Civil Construction organisation across NSW.

You will be working closely with the Regional Managers, Estimating team and Project Managers to ensure open communication for tender accuracy, along with during the project providing any support or guidance as required.

The role: 

As Civil Estimator, you will be reporting through to the Lead Estimator to review, develop and submit tender applications for Civil Infrastructure works across NSW. 

Key responsibilities include, 

• Review & develop tender documentations 
• Preparation of RFQ's & Internal pricing requests 
• Prepare detailed estimates from first principles using Benchmark system 
• Develop quantities from design documentation
• Develop resource schedule and preliminary tender programs
• Liaison with internal project delivery team and external clients/ subcontractors 
• Attend site visits to thoroughly understand project requirements

About you: You will need to have prior experience as a Civil Estimator, working predominately on tenders & estimates for projects such as Roads, TFNSW works, Mining, Water & Pipeline and Subdivisions. 

Ideally you will have, 

• Demonstrated capacity on Civil Infrastructure projects 
• Experience in planning and leading cost estimates 
• Ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated 
• Demonstrated knowledge of Estimating software 
• Team orientated & excellent communication skills across all levels.
