Civil Maintenance Workers will safety deliver the physical field aspects of planned and reactive maintenance, and minor projects under the direction of Field Supervisors in accordance with quality, time, cost and customer service requirements.

In this role you will be responsible for the following
- Undertake reactive and emergency maintenance and associated tasks, ensuring the appropriate use of works management systems and procedures to facilitate optimum efficiency and effectiveness of work delivery.
- Undertake planned/preventative maintenance and minor works, ensuring the appropriate use of works management systems and procedures to facilitate optimum efficiency and effectiveness of work delivery
- Provide timely and accurate field and administrative data, including task activity and asset data, time sheet, leave requests etc
- Participate in a flexible multi discipline working environment to meet the needs of operational requirements this may include but not limited to the operational of:
- Jetting ute and equipment
- Jetting truck and equipment
- Hydro Excavation trailer and equipment
- Valve trailer and equipment
- Water maintenance truck and equipment
- Sewer maintenance truck and equipment
- Single person water and sewer response and repair Ute and equipment
- Tipper truck and equipment
- Education/Hydrovac truck and equipment
- Small plant and equipment, such as excavator, bobcat loader, mechanical tools, and equipment
- Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and performance of the SA Water contract, including working with SA Water, Field Supervisors and Operations Managers to improve maintenance programs
- Work with all Contract personnel and subcontractors to develop and deliver optimisation initiatives
- Acting as a first point of contact for service delivery, modifying planned work schedules to accommodate action where necessary, and manage all management requests for information
- Participate in the delivery of operations to ensure that business plan objectives and corporate strategies are met
- Provide input / suggestion on incident management to improve safety and assist with risk management
- Provide required delivery of / input into vehicles and mobile plant maintenance requirements
- Provide input into the preparation of business case documentation and quotations for approval by the client to support their objectives
- Other relevant duties as required by Supervisors / Operations Manager Health, Safety & Environment
- Ensure compliance with legislation and regulations related to health and safety at all times
- Understand and comply with Lendlease’s safety/environmental policies and procedures, and promote health, safety and environmental initiatives in the field
- Ensure that HSE risks related to operation and maintenance are considered at all times
- Actively participate in all site OH&S activities and initiatives
About you
To be successful in this role you would ideally possess the following.
Essential requirements.
- Current MR/HR Driver’s License
- Construction industry White card
To be successful in this role you would ideally possess the following.
- Proven experience in Water/ Wastewater / Underground infrastructure or allied maintenance industries
- Role essential training – refer training matrix i.e. (trenching & shoring, first aid, etc.)
- Understanding the requirement of Risk Assessments and SWMS
- Strong client and customer service focus
