About the positionOur City Operations Portfolio located at Golden Grove, has undergone exciting changes to its structure and services, so we can continue to provide the best support to our Community. To support our commitment, an exciting opportunity exists to join our Field Services team.
Reporting to Team Leader Civil Maintenance, this position is responsible for the safe and professional delivery of programmed and reactive works on roads, carparks and unsealed footpaths across the City of Tea Tree Gully in line with Maintenance Service Levels. The Leading Worker Civil Maintenance provides on-site supervision and contributes to the day to day activities undertaken alongside Field Officers and supporting non-payroll personnel.
Key responsibilities are:
- Comply with Work Health and Safety requirements and relevant standards, ensure assigned work is completed on schedule and job details are recorded accurately.
- Comply with all relevant organisational codes, policies, procedures, guidelines, standards and legislation.
- Liaising with the community regarding programmed or reactive works to inform and address impacts and concerns, as key site contact.
- Demonstrate Council’s Values and behaviours when interacting with others and in delivering the outcomes of this role.

About you- Must have a current HR licence or the willingness to obtain one
- Must have Work Safely in the Construction Industry (Whitecard)and Work Zone Traffic Management (WZTM)
- Be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical
