Civil Plant Operators

Elecnor has been contracted to build EnergyConnect, a new 700km transmission line extending from Wagga Wagga NSW to the South Australian border.

This backbone infrastructure will connect customers with more renewable energy enabling a further 4950MW of generation capacity, save NSW customers $180 million a year and create 1,500 new construction jobs in regional NSW.

The Role:

Elecnor has a highly rewarding opportunity for Civil Plant Operators to join our OHTL team in Lockhart, NSW. 

As a plant operator you will play a critical role in delivering the largest transmission line project in Australia! Work will include tower earthing installations, site clean up and other general hands on tasks. 

This is a full time permanent fixed term contract until the end of 2025, working 10 hour days Monday - Friday.

What you will need for this role:

• Current White card
• HR Driving license at minimum 
• Excavator, Skid Steer, Bobcat and Backhoe licenses 
• 5+ years experience operating 
• Full Australian work rights 
• Willing to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing
