Civil Site Engineers & Project Engineers

With an ongoing pipeline of work ahead, Golding is currently seeking Civil Site Engineers and Civil Project Engineers for our Civil & Urban divisions in Queensland. This role will be involved in all aspects of civil and sub-division projects from tender though to handover on existing and new projects.

Key role tasks:

• Plan, design, document and manage construction activities and processes;
• Implement and monitor the project program in respect to engineering services;
• Implement measures to sustain and improve the performance of your team to deliver effective and efficient work outcomes;
• Manage and monitor resources for the project;
• Develop and foster effective and regular communication with the Project Team including suppliers and clients;
• Ensure activities are carried out in accordance with the Quality Assurance, Environmental Management and Safety Management Plans and other relevant standards and legislation;
• Complete reporting requirements for financial, operating and survey needs of the site;
• Comply with Golding’s health and safety requirements and promote a work environment which reflects this behaviour; 

 Key capability requirements:  

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or related field are essential;
• Demonstrated analytical and design skills;
• Practical knowledge in investigation, design and construction of civil works;
• Well-developed communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal) demonstrating the ability to interact with internal customers, external stakeholders and clients;
• Ability to develop and maintain a safe workplace and environment for employees, contractors and visitors;
• Strong level of computer skills, including Microsoft, Suretrak / Primavera and AutoCAD applications;
• Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and promote cohesive teamwork;
• Personal flexibility to operate in a dynamic work environment.
