Asahi is seeking a Claims and Injury Management professional to take responsibility for supporting the strategic design, implementation and continuous improvement of early intervention, Injury Management, return to work and claims management programs across our business in Oceania.
Reporting to the Group Manager – Injury Management, you will partner with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure that our processes are run with high levels of rigour and effectiveness and contribute to positive outcomes for the company.
Key responsibilities
- Support the effective management of injuries, workers compensation Claims and early intervention initiatives
- Personal injury matters associated with EBA provisions – ESL / LTI / IP
- All other non-work related injury and illness fitness for duty cases
- Support the capability development of people leaders and other stakeholders in matters of Injury Management
- Liaising with outside parties such as medical professionals, rehabilitation providers and insurers
- Provide advice to the business on the medical suitability of new candidates for employment
About You
- Significant experience in workers compensation and claims management as well as strong skills in the handling of both work and non-work related injuries
- Outstanding communication and engagement skills
- Problem-solving/solutions-focussed mindset with a well-developed ability to effectively manage competing priorities
- Diploma or degree qualified in a relevant discipline
