A leading organisation in their field who are committed to the well-being and rehabilitation of their workforce are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Injury Management & Claims Specialist to join the Corporate team based in a central Melbourne location.
About the Role
As the Injury Management & Claims Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing workers' compensation, income protection, and overall claim liabilities. Your responsibilities include stakeholder engagement, strategic project collaboration, budgeting, policy renewals, wage declarations, site claims reviews, quarterly insurer claims reviews, reporting, administration, payroll support, reconciliations, litigation coordination, and conciliation & tribunal hearings representation.
Skills & Experience
- Formal qualifications in personal Injury Management/rehabilitation
- 7-10 years of experience in return-to-work, Injury Management, or workers' compensation
- Tertiary qualification in allied health, safety, human resources, or related field (preferable)
- Auditing and financial qualifications and/or experience (desirable)
- High-level report writing, attention to detail, and analytical skills
- Experience in developing, conducting, and evaluating training
- Statistical analysis and reporting experience
- Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, and influencing skills
