We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Claims Consultant to join our Insurance. In this role, you will be responsible for processing and handling building insurance claims, ensuring a smooth claims process, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. As the first point of contact for customers upon receiving claims allocations from our clients, you will provide guidance and support throughout the process, coordinating with contractors and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient claim resolution.

Key responsibilities:

• Maintain client and customer satisfaction, adhering to contract requirements and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Ensure quality results in line with client SLAs and company strategic goals.
• Receive and review building insurance claims from insurance clients.
• Communicate with customers to gather information and complete triage.
• Coordinate with contractors and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient claims handling.
• Ensure claims are handled in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Provide a high level of customer service, ensuring customers feel supported and informed throughout the claims process.
• Update customers on the status of their claims and provide guidance on next steps.
• Respond to customer and client inquiries and complaints.
• Send progress updates and variations/expert reports to insurance clients.
• Follow up with trades for reports, photos, and invoices.
• Follow up/respond to emails on behalf of Estimators/Supervisor.
• Action any inbound calls received.
• Adapt to temporary changes in processes and responsibilities during high claim volume or extreme weather events.

• Intermediate skills in Word and Excel.
• Previous experience in a similar role and/or insurance industry experience would be advantageous.
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• 2+ years of experience in previous roles and or/ administration type roles.
