CLAIMS PERFORMANCE MANAGER - PERSONAL INJURY I ADELAIDE, SA

We are currently seeking to recruit a Claims Performance Manager at an exciting time of growth for our business. This role will lead business improvement and contribute to the effective operating rhythm of the business and embed business technical excellence principles to create an environment and culture that contributes to sustainable business success for the SA CTP business.

 You will be responsible for  

  • Leading process improvement activities across the business and collaborating with key staff to implement initiatives that promote an environment and culture that contributes to sustainable business success
  • Ensuring claims practices are person centred, efficient and have a clear link to achieving strong return to work or health outcomes for our customers
  • Collaborating with Business Analytics team to develop reporting to identify performance against business targets and providing detailed analysis of the business performance trends, and identifying improvement strategies
  • Identifying and leading the implementation of innovative solutions and collaborating with relevant stakeholders to enable the implementation of improved outcomes for customers
  • Leading the development of the professional capability of the technical specialists and overseeing technical succession and development plans, to ensure high performing, collaborative and engaged teams
  • Understanding trends derived from customer, quality and compliance insights to identify and implement opportunities for improvements
  • Building effective working relationships with a variety of key stakeholders

About you

  • Extensive experience in the personal injury insurance industry
  • Demonstrated evidence of successfully leading and implementing business unit initiatives
  • Demonstrated results in a performance driven environment
  • Proven analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends and links that inform judgment and solutions
  • Highly developed problem-solving skills, combined with a curious and creative mindset
  • Comprehensive understanding of relevant regulatory and/or legislative compliance requirements that impact the business
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and empower people to develop individual and team potential
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact and influence
