About the Role:
We are currently seeking a switched on and motivated Cleaning Area Supervisor with proven experience in leading, managing and coordinating the delivery of cleaning at a range of our commercial and aviation contracts located throughout the CBD and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be required to work on a Full-Time basis, Monday to Friday with occasional flexibility for additional hours over the weekend when and if required.. Key responsibilities:
Overseeing the day-to-day cleaning operations according to contractual requirementsEffectively manage staff to include efficient shift coverage requirements and service delivery KPIs are metTraining and mentoring team membersWork with the Business Manager to actively improve the cost effectiveness of the services of the portfolio, including consumables and maintenanceBuild and maintain effective client relationships, managing client requests and complaintsPreparation of reporting requirementsResponding to general cleaning, periodical, preventative and emergency incidents or queriesActively promote a positive and safe work environmentAdministration tasks as required
To be considered for this role, you must have the following as a minimum:
Minimum 1 year of supervisory or management experience in the cleaning industryDemonstrated experience in leading and supporting a team of 30+ employeesAbility to lead and motivate the team, and encourage good teamworkThe ability to understand and comply with policies and proceduresA solid understanding of general cleaning principles, cleaning equipment and cleaning machinery (desirable)An excellent customer and service delivery focusBasic to Intermediate computer skillsThorough understanding of safe chemical use, and OHS in the workplaceStrong time management skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbally and writtenAustralian Citizen (due to security requirements)Valid driver’s licenceA current police check (Within 6 months) / ability to obtainAbility to obtain security clearances such as NV1 and ASIC.
