The Role
We are currently looking for a responsible and enthusiastic full-time Cleaning Supervisor to oversee workflow in the Singleton NSW area.
The role is a full-time working supervisor position with a hands on approach working alongside the team. Hours will be Monday to Friday 4pm till 11:30pm to commence, but may vary throughout your employment.
Duties include but not limited to;
- Provide an enthusiastic and positive high level of customer service.
- Ensure adequate stocks appropriate to the work and workforce on site.
- Hold toolbox and prestart meetings with the team on site.
- Rostering and timesheets for employees on site.
- Maintaining safety onsite.
- Ongoing coaching, training and development of employees.
- Resolve disputes as they arise where appropriate.
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this role, we require you to possess the following as a minimum;
- Supervising skills and experience in a commercial/industrial environment
- The ability to organise workflow and ensure that all employees/ work teams understand their delegated tasks
- The expertise to continually monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and mentoring
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills as well as strong customer service skills
- Passion for your work performance, the results you deliver and motivation to develop your own personal knowledge and skills
- Strong decision and problem-solving skills
- Current Manual Drivers Licence
- 3 work related references
- Be able to complete and pass a full medical including drug and alcohol testing. We have a zero tolerance for drugs and alcohol and testing is ongoing during employment.
The following would be an advantage for this role;
- Cleaning / Labouring skills and experience
- Knowledge and experience of WHS regulations
- Knowledge and experience of the safe use/handling and storage of cleaning equipment, products & consumables
- Knowledge of Chemical Handling and Safety
- Ability to carry out tool box talks, and inspections successfully and address any issues as needed
- Intermediate computer, email and administrative skills
