About the Role
This exciting new role is located in the New England Region -Tamworth NSW!

The Cleaning Supervisor reports to the Production Manager and will be responsible for:
- Manage and drive accountability in the delivery of set cleaning standards throughout the site.
- Ensure cleaning standards are met in line with Quality Assurance requirements.
- Leading and coordinating cleaning teams throughout the night to ensure sufficient coverage.
- Ordering and ensuring adequate cleaning stock available at all times.
- Work with manager to actively improve the cost effectiveness of the service, manage consumables and management of maintenance requirements.
- Ensure accurate daily reporting is being feedback to the Plant manager & QA manager.
- Ensure regular checks are being conducted throughout the site to ensure cleaning standards are being met.
- Responding to general cleaning, periodical, preventative and emergency incidents or queries
- Preparation of reporting requirements
- Administration tasks as required
- Undertake regular training sessions and toolbox talks with team members.
- Ensure all training plans are followed and completed as per schedules and skills levels are maintained
- Manage the employees absences in conjunction with HR and provide warnings when required
- Complete safety checks and report hazards.
- Take accountability for driving and administering company policies and procedures, maintain standards across quality, workplace safety management, human resource activities and code of conduct
To be successful for this role, applicants must have the following:
- Manufacturing experience in the meat processing/food industry, including supervising cleaning.
- 2-3 years experience in a similar role.
- Well developed communication skills, both written and oral.
- Strong organisational and planning skills, demonstrating effective time management.
- Computer skills including Word and Excel.
