Situated 100m from the beach in magnificent Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast, my client has a team of 26 professionals, including 11 skilled accountants. They offer specialized business and personal accounting solutions with a personal touch, blending flexibility and expertise to ensure optimal outcomes.
 
They're seeking a passionate Client Account Manager to deliver reliable, efficient services tailored to each client's needs.
 
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a client base initially valued at $400,000-$500,000 in fees, with a goal to increase to $1-1.5 million
• Build and maintain lasting relationships with clients
• Onboard and manage new clients seamlessly into the firm
• Mentor, train, and manage team members within your silo
• Ensure the team produces timely and accurate job outcomes
• Oversee the production of financial statements and statutory returns
• Prepare cash flow budgets, finance applications, and tax planning
• Contribute to the firm's growth strategies and marketing programs
• Introduce new clients and services to enhance clients' financial betterment

 
Skills:

• Extensive relevant experience in a client based role
• Experience with SMSF 
• The ability to liaise with clients effectively, and offer solution based assistance where necessary, whilst ensuring client satisfaction
•   Good knowledge of Word, Excel, accounting software, tax return preparation software  

Qualifications:
 
Essential 

• Tertiary business degree
• Understanding of accounting practice and culture

Desirable

• Membership of a professional accounting body (CPA or CA)
• Higher level business qualifications (e.g., MBA)
• Experience with QBCC
