Your OpportunityWe are seeking a Client Service Officer to provide support services to our clients and stakeholders in their housing and access needs. You will have excellent customer service and admin skills and preferably some prior experience working with vulnerable people in the community. Your key responsibilities will be to:Handle general inquiries both over the phone and face to face and provide high quality customer service
Undertake initial screening and assessment to determine client’s housing needs and eligibility for assistance
Maintain and update a range of reports, client records are up to date and information meets MAH standards
Supporting a variety of teams including tenancy and maintenance as required
Develop working relationships with range of external and internal stakeholders and also with other Access and Demand service providers
Actively support and encourage collaboration the Community Development team to achieve positive outcomes
Requirements for SuccessHOME/Pathways/Trim experience desirable
Experience in MS office products
Extensive customer service skills both face to face and over the phone with strong administration experience
Must have knowledge of social housing or broader community services industry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in a fast paced and changing work environment both as a member of the team but also in their own
Current Drivers’ Licence and WWCC are essential
Senior First Aid Certificate or willingness to gain one
