Client Services - Collections Officer

Credit Officer to join our dynamic team located in our modern office close to the Adelaide CBD.
Hickinbotham operates a busy, professional office dedicated to providing SA's best value homes with true passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Key responsibilities of this challenging and rewarding role include:-

• Contacting customers in regard to overdue and current debts
• Supplying clients and lenders with invoices for the construction progress of homes
• Reconciling accounts and resolving disputed accounts
• Updating billing information
• Daily and weekly reporting on outstanding debt
• General credit and finance administration

The person that we are seeking is a bright, energetic self-starter with the ability to work under minimal supervision. You must have the ability to respond quickly and professionally to new and changing situations. You will also have a demonstrated skill in taking initiative, prioritising and multi-tasking in a fast-moving environment.
Along with being reliable, loyal and trustworthy, it is essential that you have the following attributes:-

• 3 years credit control/finance liaison experience in a high volume collections role
• Excellent customer service skills
• Problem-solving and negotiation skills
• The ability to remain calm under pressure
• Professional presentation
• Have excellent organisational and time management skills
• A high level of motivation and drive and ability to think outside of the square
• The ability to work autonomously and in a team
• Ability to identify and implement process efficiencies
